We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our volunteer team and in doing so… you’ll get to share in the atmosphere and enthusiasm of the event without having to run!
WHO ARE OUR VOLUNTEERS?
They are people from all backgrounds who enjoy being part of great sporting events. Many of our volunteers are friends or family members of competitors who want to get involved, injured runners ;-( or they might be raising money for a local sporting club or community group.
HOW LONG DO I NEED TO HELP FOR?
We will very gratefully accept any assistance that is offered – be it for 30 minutes on race morning through to a half a day. We are very happy to work around your availability.
WHAT TYPES OF ROLES ARE THERE?
Volunteer roles vary and we are very happy to match you up to the type of role that you want to do. Roles vary between setting up infrastructure, registration, manning checkpoints or sections of the course or being based at the start / finish line helping. We will allocate your role according to your experience, interest area and availability.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN RETURN FOR MY TIME?
All volunteers will receive priority entry to the 2025 Margaret River Ultra and a $50 entry credit for any future Rapid Ascent event, OR if a volunteer is representing a community or sporting group we will make a donation to that group ($50per half day and $100 per full day help provided).
Volunteers are given lunch we make sure that you are fully informed and know what to do with an allocated team leader to supervise you on the day and any equipment needed for your role. And… we guarantee you’ll have a great day!
