Turner Caravan Park and Chalets

  • Promising excellent facilities, Turner Caravan Park offers a number of picturesque camping sites and three new chalets with views to the Blackwood River. You can often see visiting dolphins cruising the river. Large stingrays and pelicans are often happy to share your catch of the day near the filleting tables. Flinders Bay Caravan Park

Nestled on the shores of Flinder’s Bay, this beachfront caravan park offers shady, private camp sites and is dog friendly. Located just a 20 minute drive to the event start line.

Car Hire

Travel by car is recommended and car hire is available from Perth Airport. An alternative option is to catch a public bus from the Airport (East Perth Terminal) to Margaret River. Visit www.transwa.wa.gov.au or call 1300 662 205 for more information and bookings.

The White Elephant

You’d be forgiven for thinking that the White Elephant Cafe’s number one best-seller was the stunning 360 degree views of Gnarabup Bay and we agree it’s worth the visit for that alone, but you’ll soon discover that the food and drinks at the White Elephant Cafe are as superb as the view and you’ll be back time and time again… Open daily for breakfast, lunch and fabulous coffee from 7:30am til 3pm.

The Common

AUGUSTA VISITOR CENTRE

Augusta Visitor Centre closed its doors in February 2019. Meanwhile, Visitor Information Hubs have been installed at the following locations on the main street. Please visit them to pick up a free map showcasing all that Augusta has to offer, and to browse a wealth of information available through an easy-to-use touchscreen.
